  2. A big thunderstorm builds over the Glory Hills near Stony Plain, Alberta not far from where I live. Fields in the forground are last year's stubble from the canola crop. A small rainbow is visible near the silos in the centre of the panorama.

  4. A large, tornadic thunderstorm fired up about 50 miles west of Hays, KS around noon today. By the time I got out to shoot this GigaPan it had developed quite a huge anvil cloud and was northwest of town and headed towards Nebraska.   5. A gigapan of a thunderstorm spawning a second storm (the younger smaller one is slightly front and to the left. A third may develop closest to the camera as it is just beginning to show vertical development. Taken from hear Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, the storms are actually over Lancaster County to the south.

  6. Early morning sun breaks through as the dramatic black storm clouds hang in the west. This is one of the more than 25 GigaPans I recorded on a weekend trip to Southern Alberta. I put on more than 1960 km on the 3 day trip on the Canada Day weekend. Milk River is close to the Canada-US border at Coutts & Sweetgrass.
