I took the panorama from the Plassenburg castle (en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Plassenburg Will open in a new tab or window) which looms above the old town. The panorama was stitched with PTGui and saved as a TIF image. For upload to the Gigapan website I had to reduce the original size...
