Plaza de Armas, Cusco, Peru. In ancient times, this plaza was much bigger, called Huacaypata, a sacred plaza of the Inca empire. The churches on the plaza were built from stones ripped from Inca temples. Photographed 28th Oct 2011, at around 5.55pm.
