An oasis in the city, Nan Ling Gardens is a Buddhist park open to the public, providing some of the most tranquil scenes in the city. It is attached to the Chi Lin Nunnery, which has more limited hours. Both are must-sees for any stay in Hong Kong longer than a few days. It is one of my favourite spots in the world....

I drive by this place about twice a month. As far as buffet chinese food it's hit-or-miss, but the building is among the more striking (at least at night) when coming out of Houston along I-45.
