The main courtyard between the two largest temples at Bongeunsa in Seoul. The entire courtyard is covered by a roof of hanging prayers. Many come and bow on all four sides of the central structures.
This western edge of Bongeunsa shows a very old wooden temple and the entrance temple to the giant Buddha. to the right (the south) you can start to see the modern town, or "new downtown."
This pathway leads on the left to the entrance temple at Bongeunsa in Seoul. The complex is stunning and feels extremely peaceful and holy.
This image was made from just beside the mysterious water well at Kak Kozhad, aka Kafir Qala.
