View from Boise Depot looking down Capitol Blvd. to Downtown Boise and Capitol Building. The Boise Foothills are visible in the background. I am not satisfied with the sharpness in this image. I have to experiment with my camera to see if I can improve this function. Note! On April 22 I shot another Gigapan im...

The focus is getting better as I shoot more gigapans and learn the characteristics of the Nikon P80 camera. I am not sure why I am getting the verticle dark stitching lines in the last two panoramas.

I am getting better at taking these Gigapan photos. This image is sharper and the stitching lines are almost not visible. I plan to geotag this one and hope that it is acceptable for being included in the Google Earth Gigapan layer. I have also created an experimental Google Earth "Photo Geotagged tour"...

This is a wider view of the Treasure Valley from the viewpoint of the Table Rock Cross. In the foreground are a segment of the Boise Foothills. The City of Boise is above the foothills and in the distance you can see the Owyhee Mountains on the left and probably into the state of Oregon, except for the haze present in ...

I took this Gigapan image shortly after the Wider skyline view image I posted just before this. I am working on a project to create a Google Earth Tour of some of my photographs of downtown buildings and hope to use one of these images. You can see some of the building photos at my panoramio.com site. www.pan
