I'm working on strategies to capture action in a GigaPan. I took a grid of photos with a tripod-mounted Nikon D3, then went back and shot action at various points along the track. Then I patched these action shots into the scene. I couldn't resist putting several rides together -- in real life there'd only be one car o...

The beach and boardwalk at Santa Cruz, California on a perfect July afternoon. Image was taken from the Santa Cruz Wharf about 500 meters from the surfline and about 600 from the Boardwalk at the center of the panorama. The Giant Dipper Roller Coaster was built in 1924 and is the 5th oldest rollercoaster in the USA.

Taken from the train station overlook. Just missed getting a show that was taking place on the stage in front of Cinderella's castle. Oh well. Fairly normal day, crowd-wise. Taken the first day of spring 2010.

Home to the 3D movie "Honey I shrunk the Audience" and Figment's ride, the attraction has what was a cutting edge fountain at it's entrance that enchants children and adults. The Monorail track is overhead in this shot. Taken in mid-November 2009, it is off-season with light crowds. The structure rising above the trees...
