  2. Probably a Basin & Range normal fault, you can see its trace distinctly where the orange Tertiary lacustrine sediments with hoodoos but up abrubtly against dark basalt.

  3. Remnants of a fog in the city made this less than optimal conditions for shooting a detailed GigaPan of this scene, so I opted for a somewhat less detailed image.

  4. Uppermost layers of the Cambrian Potsdam Sandstone exposed in the base of this roadcut are overlain by the Theresa Formation.

  6. This is definitely not the most impressive roadcut of Gowganda Fm. tillite north of Elliot Lake, Ontario, however due to highway construction on the day I passed thru it was the most impressive one that I had access to for GigaPanning purposes.
