NASA's twin Mars Exploration Rovers have been getting smarter as they get older. This view from Opportunity shows the tracks left by a drive executed with more onboard autonomy than has been used on any other drive by a Mars rover. Opportunity made the curving, 15.8-meter (52-foot) drive during its 1,160th Martian d...

NASA's Mars Exploration Rover Spirit welcomed the beginning of 2006 on Earth by taking this striking panorama of intricately rippled sand deposits in Gusev Crater on Mars. This is an approximate true-color rendering of the "El Dorado" ripple field provided by Spirit over the New Year's holiday weekend. The view spans a...

The rover was near a location called "Point Lake" for an overlook of a shallow depression called "Yellowknife Bay" which is in the left third of t...

The panorama is made with about 110 single frames taken on SOL54, SOL60 and SOL64 using the MASTCAM 34mm camera while the rover was involved in sand sampling activities. This bedrock site was named by NASA Curiosity team as "Rocknest". Maybe in the next days new frames has to come, and I'll update the pananorama. ...

360 view from Ecole Militaire to the Eiffle Tower. A nice study, sort of a normal view of a Parisian park.
