  4. This recently discovered grove of vey old Western Red Cedar is located in the Rocky Mountain Trench between McBride and Prince George, BC.   9. "Forest Preserve" means "park" in this part of the country. Illinois DuPage county has 50 forest preserve totalling 13,000 acres. McDowel Grove is 439 acres. This picture was taken on 23 Februray 2008 looking east across the West Branch of the DuPage River.
