Another pre-Gigapan camera image. The Ranger Uranium mine is located within Kakadu National Park / World Heritage Area. Which is to say, it is an enclave inside it, but not part of it. The processing facilities are in the buildings, that convert the ore to uranium oxide.

A short experiment using auto-focus that aborted due to battery issues and timing issues. With the extreme difference - under 10 ft to 60 ft, I was wondering if autofocus would be of any benefit (usually it isn't due to the stiching issues) this seems to be ok. but - chaotic.
