  6. The Superstition Mountains form the backdrop for this annual event in the desert east of Phoenix. In the center of the parking lot cars are baking in the 85 degree sun. It's only March and still pretty cool. ;-) Single row, handheld, Canon T2i with 28-135mm set to 73mm.

  8. Papago Butte and Barnes Butte rise about 400 feet above the valley floor. Papago Butte is part of Papago Park. Barnes Butte is on the Arizona Army National Guard base on the far side of McDowell Road.
