  5. Less complex than the last example, but another worthy exercise in determining the geologic history of the rocks in this roadcut. Please limit your explanations to a single blue book.

  6. I thought there was a way down through the huge cliff at the bottom of this chute, but the conditions were terrible and I got afraid I was going to die so I had to hike all the way back up and out. Another great ski day.

  9. I took this panorama while some friends and I jumped off of the cliffs of the canyon into the Big Chco Creek. There are several swimming holes in Upper Bidwell Park and when temperatures soar over 100 degrees F its one of many places people take refuge from the heat. Mike Andree
