  3. I couldn't find the name of this hill, but it's nestled in the volcanic Adel Mountains of central Montana. Gobs and gobs of ancient igneous outcroppings dot the landscape in this area.

  9. La Azul is a volcanic lagoon at the Somuncura Plateau in Rio Negro, Argentina. The lagoon is in the middle of the crater of an extinct volcano and acts as a reservoir of water. The panorama shows the North/West rim of the crater lit by the first rays of sunlight.
