Corfe Castle, in Purbeck on the English countryside, is a beautiful remnant lasting more than a thousand years. This GigaPan panorama is nice especially because you can read the two very informative signs.

The final day of a first-year photography class at NYU. We took this gigapan as I gave a lecture about the Gigapan and Global Connection projects. In retrospect, given low light, I should have left autofocus on rather than fixing focus at an intermediate length (or I should have re-set focus 2-3 times during the pan).

Chesil Beach is a beautiful shingle structure- it's composed of gorgeous, rounded chert and flint stones that feel fabulous under foot. It is incredibly straight and long and just a joy to behold.

This gigapan image shows the Vietnam wall from afar, near a statue depicting three women in the agony of war. The statue is moving, as is the image of the wall ascending from the ground, towering over visitors, then descending back into the ground in line with the Washington Monument.
