Here's the main lawn at the Harold L. Lyon Arboretum, a research and education arm of the University of Hawaii at Manoa. I'm working on a 1.5 gigapixel version. Brisk trade winds and rapidly moving clouds made this a difficult image to capture.

A beautiful 1 November in the `Burgh. still using my 4 year old Canon S5 IS P&S with 1.5 tele-extender. Didn't pause the GigaPan quickly enough to miss the barge. One day, I'll get a "real" camera.

The view from Mark and Tracy's place. The city lights seem to have caused a lot of vignetting when going from dark sky to bright lights. Punchbowl, with the National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific inside the crater, is at the right of the gigapan, while Diamond Head is off the image to the left.

10 focal planes combined with Helicon Focus. The lens combo I used, a Sigma 55-200 (110-400 equiv.) and 25 mm extension tube, would not allow proper focus stacking at each position, due to the overall depth of field of the composition. Instead of focus stacking each frame, I took each focal plane. since I could not ...

The meadow at Moraine Park, Rocky Mountain National Park, with part of the continental divide in the background. There's a nice herd of elk grazing in the meadow, along with an unidentified photographer in the distance, possibly taking a macro shot. I stitched only 10 rows x 55 columns of a 20R x 91C image - cut out ...

predator proof fence along the edge of the Ka`ena Point Natural Aea Reserve, Oahu, Hawaii. My old Epic100(original)/Canon S5IS (2007) combo has just about completed its life cycle - too many GigaPan unit/camera glitches to count, these days.
