  8. You'd be excused for thinking this was Bryce Canyon National Park, but it's not. The geology is essentialy the same, but this is along Hwy 12, a couple miles west of Bryce.

  9. Located between Ouray and Silverton, Colorado, the red color of the mountain is an indication of the intense hydrothermal alteration that gave rise to the mineral deposits mined in the region.

  10. Rodeo Beach is a textbook example of a baymouth bar, separating Rodeo Lagoon from the Pacific Ocean. Fort Cronkhite is located along the north shore of Rodeo Lagoon. The GigaPan is shot from the northwest end of WWII era Battery Alexander.
