Exploring this panorama reveals many evidences of the beavers who lived here. All the fallen trees were cut by beavers. Some trees they tried cutting with their teeth, but either gave up or were killed by humans before they finished the job. The abandoned beaver home and dam are also visible if you look.

This old Hotel has been closed for many years. First opened in the late 1800's, it was a top quality hotel for wealthy travelers on their way to the Aspen gold mines.
