Over exposed, but this GigaPan was shot to show the very small, elevated camp common area at Nautaloid Canyon in the difficult lighting of the evening shadow. Set low on a Gorilla Grip tripod it provides a glimpse at one of our many temporary homes by the side of the Colorado River. Grand Canyon GigaView is a new s...

Grand Canyon GigaView is a new school virtual tour of the Grand Canyon created with a collection of GigaPan images taken on a private rafting trip in April 2010 and geol...

The confluence of two rivers has always been an important place for the people that live along them. This is where the muddy and free-flowing Little Colorado meets the Colorado River. The Little Colorado is not always muddy, though. There are times when it's waters run as blue as the sky because of the calcium carbo...

Such a small creek makes for such a huge rapid. This GigaPan was interupted by the batteries dying in my camera, which meant I had to remove the camera from the GigaPan. One of the iconic stops along the Colorado River through the Grand Canyon, Redwall Cavern has been carved out by historic high water flows before the upriver dams were in place. This GigaPan was interrupted by the loss of battery life and the position shifted in replacing the batteries. The position of other thin...

One of the Frustrations about GigaPanning... There WAS a SHARP Shadow in the corner of my room. But, by the time I set everthing up, and then having to wait through 6 full Columns BEFORE it got to where the shadows were... when the Sun went behind the clouds and NEVER came out again... no more shadows!!!
