The Hays Public Library is a real first-rate institution for a town of this size in the plains region. It is part of the Chestnut Street District, a redevelopment project in downtown Hays, Kansas - you can see another old building that's in the process of being renovated at the left of this image.

This is a redo of the Rollins complex at Emory University that I shot on 20110610. Unfortunately I took that in the morning, looking more or less east, so there were some really bad lighting problems. I decided to redo the pano this afternoon, when the sun was more directly from the west.
