  2. Paso Pacifico has several areas of native species reforestation along the southern shores of Lake Nicaragua, outside of the town of Cardenas. This shot was taken from Isla Vista, where a reforestation project was established in 2007. Some day, it will look like the forest seen from this vista.

  4. A somewhat crummy gigapan of part of Masaya Volcano, Nicaragua. Parts are off because of shifting amounts of sunlight as clouds went by overhead, parts because I wasn't able to tend to the camera very well. The main crater is to the right. Going to try again later this month...
