  2. Upon returning to the grove on Thanksgiving weekend I set up the camera under very cloudy weather...perfect for shooting this kind of subject matter. I also employed a remote shutter release which prevented camera shake during the 2.5 second exposures. Most of the undergrowth is dying back including the Devil's Club...

  6. The clear waters of the Chehalis, one of the cleanest rivers in BC, is noted for it's run of steelhead trout in the winter and early spring. Magnificent old growth forest of cedar, fir and hemlock surround the area. Neaby is Harrison Hot Springs in the upper Fraser Valley.
