This syncline is at Summerleaze Beach, Bude, Cornwall. The interbedded shales and sandstones are from the Bude Formation, deposited during the Westphalian (Upper Carboniferous) as the last remnants of the Rheic ocean were infilled with sediment. This Courthouse, built in 1886, is on US 40 in St. Clairsville, Ohio. US 40 was the first major road west starting in Cumberland, Maryland and know as the Cumberland Trail. The little white monument infront of the bell is the original mile post marker.

This is an Ohio farmhouse circa 1879. Front and south sides are finish cut, the other two sides are rough cut. The sandstone was quarried about a quarter mile away on farm.
