  9. The Similkimeen River winds its way through southern BC near the village of Hedley, once a thriving gold mine. The road climbs the steep hillside to the Nickel Plate Mine which is still in production. Grades are as steep as 15% but the view from above is worth the climb.

  10. I finally received my panoramic gimble tripod head, so I thought I'd try it on something familiar first. Victoria's inner harbour is always beautiful, day or night, but it gets particularly stunning during the Christmas holidays. This year in particular added all the new [faux] Christmas trees all through the harbour.....
