  2. The Melvin L. Newman Wetlands Center covers 32 acres and is located in Clayton County Georgia. It has a variety of flora and fauna and is a favorite location for Atlanta area birdwatchers. This view is from the elevated platform that spans one of the marshes.

  3. This rally was held at the Georgia State Capitol in Atlanta, Georgia on May 1, 2010. In order to limit issues associated with movement of the participants, the sequence was shot handheld at 3 frames per second while panning the crowd.

  4. This was hand shot, hand stitched-- didn't have the gigapan or tripod with me on vacation. You can barely see the very top of the head of an alligator at the top part of the pool at left, just below the log-like thing. The eye is prominent. Also elsewhere in the picture are egrets or herons (I forget which is which)...
