I'm disappointed with the results of this gigapan and I'd like to re-shoot it sometime, but I decided to post it anyway. It was starting to get dark out so I had to bump my ISO up to 800 and the shutter speed was only 1/100th. I shot this gigapan over the course of 24hours. The original concept was to create a seamless panaorama blending 60 vertical panoramas. Haven't figured out a good way to blend the vertical panoramas yet. This is a trial run so you'll find lots of mistakes!

Large patch of Marsh Marigolds (Caltha palustris) in bloom, growing in the headwaters area of Miller Creek. If they look like the common butter cups, they are closely related - being in the same family (Ranunculaceae). Several of the plants - lower left - have already been pollinated and you can see the trapezoidal see...

The old Michigan train depot is a canvas for graffiti artists. The Michigan Central Depot was opened in 1913. The building was designed in the Beaux Art neoclassical style by architects Warren and Wetmore, and engineers Reed and Stern. The last train departed January 5, 1988 and the building was permanently closed. The...

Another golf hole at Garland Resort (Monarch #11) that will be one of four change-of-seasons panoramics. I had my exposure locked and halfway thru my series of pictures the sun came out, becoming much brighter, and completely washed out the right hand side. The three foot bridges close to the green are barely visible. ...
