The image was taken hand held from a moving ship, hence the irregular outline. Processed in Photoshop CS3 extended from 17 images taken with a Canon IXUS 85IS. Note the band of ice on the right hand wall. This is insulated by the rock and remains frozen even after the main body of ice has gone.
