Horseshoe Park as viewed from Rainbow Curve in Rocky Mountain National Park. Beautiful examples of meandering river features are present along the course of the Fall River. The alluvial fan that resulted from the Lawn Lake flood is also visible left of the center of the image.

Given the questionable weather forecasts I decided to shoot a GigaPan of Moraine Park on the evening of my arrival in Estes Park, Colorado for the Fine Outreach for Science (FOFS) GigaPan conference. The lighting wasn't great, but at least all of the peaks around the valley were in the clear. Thirty seven hours later...
