The Owens River Gorge cuts down through the Bishop Tuff, exposing a cross section throught the 760,000 year old pyroclastic deposit that is unparalleled. This GigaPan was shot near the middle point of the Gorge. Cooling features can be seen along the walls of the Gorge.
