  2. Little Sewickley Creek, Edgeworth, PA, USA A curious anomaly showing shale from the Devonian Era directly in contact with conglomerate intrusions of the recent Cenozoic Era. Geologists??? ;^)

    Old sidewalk slabs? By the way, "conglomerate intrusions" makes me wince. Igneous rocks can intrude, but sedimentary rocks rarely do.
