This is a very photogenic area of Singapore but I found two significant problems with taking gigapans here (and in many other places in the city too in fact). The first is that it was difficult to find a suitable vantage point because the city is laid out on a strict grid system with very few open spaces. The roads are wide and busy and have wide borders of shrubbery between the pavement (sidewalk) and the road which means you can't even take a shot from the side of the road. This leaves street corners where there are pedestrian crossings as the only candidates and those are relatively few and far between because the Singaporese use underpasses.
The second problem was that my gigapan Pro broke on day 4 of 12 :(
You may notice there are some stitching anomalies as a result of me moving the camera too far horizontally. Autop*no has dealt with this quite well. Gigapan Stitch treats the same images rather differently: gigapan.org/gigapans/97766
