The backyard of the house where I grew up - back after 39 years away. 18 yrs. SFO area, 21 years Honolulu.
Our old garage was demolished years ago. The barren circle was found after the garage was removed. It's a sinkhole of some sort - possibly from an old out-house.
Other than the pool next door, not much has changed.
