Description

Between Singapore's main island and Malaysia is this small island and nature preserve. On the eastern side of the island is this observation tower, located 20 meters (60 feet) off of the ground , overlooking the the Chek Jawa wetlands and Johor Straight. It was here that I had my first interaction with Durian fruit! First I smelled it, then I picked one up and it made me bleed, and later a local cut it open for us and we gagged trying to eat it.
