In the 1990s, the walls were painted, thus obscuring all original works of art dating from the early twentieth century. A tall order came from a local priest. Twenty years later the Church corrected the error by doing a fine job of restoring the original paintings.
Na década de 1990, as paredes foram pintadas, ocultando assim todas as obras de arte originais datada do início do século XX. A ordem absurda veio de um padre local. Vinte anos depois, a Igreja corrigiu o erro, fazendo um belo trabalho de restauração das pinturas originais.
