- Description

The tile roofs of Dubrovnik, seen from the city walls. If many of the tiles look surprisingly new, they are. Dubrovnik was shelled during the Croatian war of independence in the 1990s, with 650 artillery rounds hitting the Old City. Here's a shout-out to Paul from Ireland, who stopped to chat while I was making this pano.
