Description

The cienega of San Pedro Tultepec is the largest of the 3 remaining wetlands of the upper Lerma River. They are threatened by urban growth and expanding agriculture, but still hold endemic fish, amphibians and birds. It is located in the Toluca Valley, in the State of Mexico.
