The Swan River between Perth (which lies behind the dark building) and Fremantle (behind the photographer looking at the middle of the picture), featuring waterside buildings, boats, a bridge, and a car park.
The northern end of Fremantle Bridge is just visible at the extreme left of the image.
The photographs were taken by hand (rather than using any sort of mount).
