This Denton landmark with its bright red "Morrison's Corn Kits" sign started as a cooperative flour mill for local farmers in 1886. The Morrison family purchased the Alliance Milling Company in 1936 and sold it to C.H. Guenther & Son, Inc. in 2006.
The silo is located at 319 East Prairie Street, Denton, TX, but can be seen from for miles around thanks to its height. FYI a "corn kit" is used to bake corn muffins.
