Dairy Bush GigaPan - 109 - September 28 2011

Year 3 - Week 05 - 360 ̊

Clear and humid and then clouding over while taking the GigaPan. Lots of rain this week so I expected lots of snails in the pano - and it seems I was correct. How many snails can you find?

Somebody burned (!) one of my Malaise traps in the last week. I suppose the positive is that this is the first destruction since the traps went in in April. 13 ̊ C with 100% relative humidity while shooting today.

I've extracted images from a year of Dairy Bush GigaPans to illustrate the rapid decomposition of the leaf litter in this forest associated with the presence of non-native worms. The forest floor is changing! www.youtube.com/watch?v=uRRv09_oF5w
