  2. Taken in May, 2007, this view from the campanile tower on the piazza/square of San Marco, overlooks some of the urban islands which form Venice. The omnipresent tile roofs form a sea of consistent terra cotta red which can only be apprecated fully from a viewpoint such as this one.
