Description

This is a north facing roadcut in marble. Rather than shoot it in shadow I revisited it again and again during the day hoping the afternoon/evening light would eventually come around and illuminate it. My wait was more or less in vain. This is the last light of day and despite partial illumination I suspect I'd have been better off shooting this GigaPan earlier in the day with less lighting contrast. Oh well, at least I've learned something (hopefully).
