Description

Each bucket of sediment that we excavate is washed and sieved to recover any small objects we could could not normally fine (mainly small pieces of stone tools, bone, and occasionally beads and broken jewelry). This is the smaller of the two types of screens that we use, and shows well the density of very small material found in paleolithic archaeological site.
