Woodward Dream Cruise 2011 by The Oakland Press

Oakland Press photographer Doug Bauman took this image from the top of the 555 Residences in Birmingham, Mi. during the Woodward Dream Cruise between 12:30pm and 1:30pm, August 20, 2011. The image is not supposed to represent one moment in time, but is made up of 108 individual photos taken over about a 25-minute span and stitched together to form one large image. The final high resolution picture is 13727 X 16933 pixels or 1984 megapixels. There are numerous stitching "errors" which are usually caused by a person or an automobile that is partially in a picture moving to a different location by the time my camera made another pass.
