Description

A nice visit today. Have been here several times; this time with time to attempt a GigaPan. I picked a spot, set up, started the process, sat near by to monitor the unreliable 'thumb', got comfortable, walked away (with binoculars) to visit, looked back in a few minutes and there was no motion. Daxx! Went back and the thumb was again disconnected. This time I couldn't get it to restart. So, with only a couple of hundred photos to complete the pan I manually pushed 'forw' and then pushed the thumb to take the images. I think I got all but one - and inserted the Boreas Pass sign to fill the gap. There was some sort of error message at the end of the stitch, but I saw the completed image behind and ignored it. (Guessing the two Fat Tires I had down in town had nothing to do with the response). Anyway, something funny about the 'Notes' and I can't zoom in very well, but in general the image looks good - so, I will upload it and see how it looks there. Also, I will try a restitch and see what happens with that. Ok then, the 1st stitch (Stitch 1.1.1564) would not upload. It could not find some tiles. So, I started another run. But about 8 of the images would not load. I went back to the source files and they had been corrupted. I went back to Stitch 1.0.0805 and started again but lost the 1st column of the 360, however came up with this GigaPan. Works for me.
