Douaumont Bataille Ossuaire

L'ossuaire de Douaumont est une nécropole nationale située sur le territoire de la commune française de Douaumont, en Lorraine.

Le monument fut créé après la bataille de Verdun. Il abrite un cloître long de près de 137 mètres avec des tombeaux pour environ 130 000 soldats inconnus, Allemands et Français, indéfectiblement entremêlés. En face de l'ossuaire se trouve un immense cimetière composé de près de 15 000 tombes de soldats français.
