Deep Cove in North Vancouver by Peter van North

About the subject: Deep Cove is a delightful community situated in North Vancouver in a sheltered part of Indian Arm. In summer it is a popular destination for water sports and is ideal for water skiing and rowing. It is also the start of the Barden-Powell trail that traverses the North shore and ends up in Horseshoe bay. The trail passes just meters away from the point where this Panorama was taken. There are many excellent restaurants along the main road and the park is a venue for concerts and the annual polar bear dip in mid-winter.

About the image: This image consists of 220 individual images made using an Epic Pro. They were taken with a Canon 50D fitted with a Canon 70-200 2.8 EF zoom lens @ 200mm and processed via DXO and PTgui.
