Held annually at the Harts Range Racecourse, set in the majestic East MacDonnells area, is the ‘Harts Range Bush Sports Weekend’ aka ‘Harts Range Races’.
The NT August Picnic Races Public Holiday stem from this 60yr old tradition started at the Harts Range Racecourse, 215km East of Alice Springs on the Plenty Highway.This second picture shows some of the 'mountains and gives an idea of the vastness of the place
