Description

The center of the "Fremont Street Experience" in old Las Vegas. Or, at least, most of it. The pan was progressing quite nicely and looks pretty good. At least it did right up until the security supervisor drove up and said "You have to leave. You can't conduct professional photography sessions without explicit permission - otherwise we will sue you and have you arrested for trespassing." Those were the magic words - rights to photograph aside, when they tell you to leave the property, you have to. He was very polite, but very specific: "you have to leave - now." I decided not to argue the points about "not a professional effort, non-commercial not-for-profit use, access to presumed public space, yadda, yadda, yadda." But I did get what I needed to get a photo permit for the next visit. So I will try again, and go for a night shot with all the lights.
