This panorama was taken from a transmitting station near the top of Mount Victoria in the vicinity of Wellington, New Zealand. Off to the right you can see downtown Wellington and its harbor, off to the left you can see Wellington International Airport and some of the suburbs.
I still don't know where the thatched stitching came from, possibly because the light was continually changing as the sun passed behind clouds?
