Description

Continuing my series of great buidings captured whilst covered in scaffolding and plastic.

Bits of this abbey fell down without any input from Henry VIII. They are more apparent at the rear: www.gigapan.org/gigapans/81372/

Bags of history here - as with any old Abbey - home of the flying monk for example, also housed the first church organ in England. If only the spire hadn't fallen down.
